The Villa
Villa Alda is located in the city of Santa Cesarea Terme, a seaside resort in the south-east of Salento overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Given the geological conformation of the coast, Santa Cesarea was born and developed on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea. In its upper part we find the most fascinating area of the city, from which you can enjoy a wonderful panorama that embraces the entire Adriatic coast up to Capo di Leuca and is therefore called "Belvedere".
The Villa is located in this strategic area, as it is far from the urban chaos, but still a few steps from the center, reachable in a few minutes both by car and on foot, along the paths that cut the promontory and cross the magnificent pine forest, very popular with tourists and locals. Adjacent to the house there is also a trekking path.
Built in the late 60s, this manor house has been completely renovated and modernized, while maintaining the peculiar features and characteristics that distinguish its Mediterranean style. Star vaults, barrel vaults, arches, are all characteristic elements that are found and repeated inside and outside the building. Furthermore, the furniture is a heterogeneous but coherent mix between modern and original, characteristic of the 70s.

How to reach us
BY PLANE: stopover at Salento Airport, the closest of all, located in the Brindisi Casale area, 30km north of Lecce, or stopover in Bari.
Afterwards, you can use the shuttle bus connection between Brindisi and Lecce. From Lecce, you can reach Santa Cesarea Terme by STP buses that travel throughout the Salento area or you can use, in the summer, the SALENTO IN BUS service that reaches all the most important coastal locations. Alternatively, from the airport there is the possibility of contacting several CAR RENTALS, thanks to which you can choose your preferred means of transport for your Salento holiday.
BY TRAIN: you need to reach Lecce by one of the Trenitalia Ferrovie dello Stato trains and, from there, take the train to Poggiardo with the Ferrovie Sud Est. Poggiardo is 8 km from Santa Cesarea Terme and is the closest town to the destination served by railway. From Poggiardo, in the summer, you can continue by bus via SALENTOINBUS. Alternatively, you can stop by train in Lecce and then continue directly by bus to Maglie (Line 106 SALENTOIN BUS) and then from Maglie reach Santa Cesarea Terme (Line 103 SALENTOINBUS). The Salentoinbus service is active from June to September.
BY CAR: depending on where you are coming from, take the A14 (Bologna-Bari) or the A16 (Naples-Bari), then proceed along the long stretch of highway from Bari to Lecce (passing through Brindisi). Before entering Lecce, follow the ring road junction for Maglie, then take the SS16 for Maglie, then reach Poggiardo and then Santa Cesarea Terme.
Alternatively, you can choose the COASTAL ROUTE, which is longer but also more evocative, reaching the coast from Lecce towards San Cataldo and following the coastal road towards Otranto, passing it to then reach Santa Cesarea Terme.
